HKC(hanyu kouyu ceshi)，a new test to assess the ability of foreigners to speak Chinese will be introduced this year.
HKC is the standard referenced test based on actual needs to communicate. The test integrates Chinese culture and focuses on practical daily situations.
“汉语口语水平测试”（缩写为“HKC”）的测试方式为计算机辅助的口语测试，在人机对话的环境中进行。在为时半小时的测试中，应试者完成了读词、读句、提问、设问、复述、描述和说话等７个部分的全部测试题目。HKC测试等级分为三等九级。命题改变了过去以语言知识和结构为主的测试形式，突出生活化和实用性，采用图片、视频、录音和文字拼音相结合等多种方式。
