在an old key上面发现的具有深远意义的文字——“如果我休息，我就会rust。”对于那些为idleness而苦恼的人l来说，无疑是一则最好的motto。甚至那些勤劳的人都会接受并从中受益，将它视为reminder。如果一个人有才而不用，就像key上的铁一样，这些才能很快就会rust，并最终无法完成安排给自己的工作。 Industry能使the key发亮，从而开启成功的treasure。如果年轻的Scotland青年Ferguson在山坡上放羊时让大脑处于休息状态，而不是以a string of beads来计算star的位置的话，他也不可能成为一位声名大振的astronomer。 labor vanquishes all——这里所指的labor，不是指断断续续的或者偏离方向的labor；而是坚定的、持续的、朝着正确方向而每日坚持不断的努力。正如要想有liberty就必须时刻vigilant一样，eternal industry是noble and enduring success所必须付出的代价。
在一个dry and sad-looking的沙漠中，有一朵小花正绽放着，她独自生长在这里，enjoying every day……她对太阳说：“我什么时候才能长大呀？”太阳回答说：“不要急——我的光芒每接触你一次，你就会长大一点儿……”小花听了很开心。因为她有机会bring beauty to the corner of the desert……这就是她梦寐以求的——bring a little bit of beauty to the dworld。
一天，一个hunter经过这里——正好踩在她身上。——她快要死了——她感到十分悲伤。她悲伤的原因，并不是因为她将要死去，而是因为她再也没有机会bring beauty to the corner of the desert。
The Great Spirit看到了她，并听到了她的心里话。他说事实上她应该活下去。于是，The Great Spirit来到沙漠上抚摸着她，并给了她生命。
后来，她终于长大成了一朵美丽的花儿……这片沙漠也因她的存在而变得格外美丽。
